This notice explains how personal information is used when someone browses Warning Signage UK, sends an enquiry, creates an account or places an order. Why information is used
Information is used to take steps requested before a contract, process and deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud, keep business and tax records, protect the service and meet legal duties. Marketing is sent only where there is a valid basis and an unsubscribe route.
Who may receive it
Relevant information may be shared with hosting, email, payment, accounting, fraud-prevention, delivery and fulfilment providers where needed for the service. A supplier may receive the customer name, delivery address, product and delivery instructions for white-label fulfilment. Providers must use information only for the agreed purpose or under their own stated legal responsibilities.
Retention and international processing
Records are kept only for as long as needed for the purpose, legal claims and accounting or tax duties. If a provider processes information outside the UK, appropriate transfer safeguards must be used where the law requires them.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
